Come gain support, understanding, and tools to help you navigate your particular situation. We will be working from the perspective of the family member or friend of a loved one engaged in, or in recovery from, addictive behavior. All are welcome to attend. This group is free and open to the public. Please check us out, we would love to have you join us!
I am excited to announce that as of Tuesday 11/30/21 this group will be facilitated by Meggan McEvoy, LCSW. I have loved being the facilitator for this group and look forward to connecting with you all in the future. ❤️
About:
This free weekly group is based on the Invitation to Change (ITC) approach created by the Center for Motivation and Change, the same folks who brought us Beyond Addiction and the 20-Minute Guides.
ITC is strongly grounded in community reinforcement and family training (CRAFT), an evidence-based treatment for families who are struggling with a loved one’s use of alcohol and/or drugs. Learn more about CRAFT here.
The ITC group meets Tuesdays online from 6:45 to 8:15 pm (90 minutes). You can start at any point, attend whenever it works for you, and for as long as it’s helpful to you!
